While you are welcome to find your own accomodations, we invite you to stay on-site with us. Staying on-site will foster a stronger sense of community with your peers. Plus, it will save time (and likely money) on your end if you don't already live on O'ahu. Our training venue is on the northeast side of O'ahu in Ka'a'a'wa. The Windward Retreat Center is about a 50-minute drive from HNL airport.
The cost of accomodations is $2,150 per module (14 days). Because this is a rigorous program, we know that not commutting and that having fresh food available (no grocery shopping or cooking) is a smart move.
The accomodation fee is the direct cost of your housing and meals, which is paid directly to our partnering venue and vendors.
Each room has two beds and access to a shared bathroom, meaning you will likely be sharing a room with one other person. You will be paired with another student based on your preferences and sleep habits that you indicate in your housing questionairre. We also have a glamping option, which is a private room option.
The property is located in a residential neighborhood and is approximately a three-minute walk from the beach and offers direct access to hiking trails. While staying on-site, you are welcome to use the shared laundary facilities for linens and personal clothing items.
We have an off-site chef who will prepare three full nourishing meals each day, using primarily local and organic ingredients. We will try to accomodate dietary preferences when possible, but trust us that meals are always beautiful, delicious, and nourishing. We know that a quality meal can really impact attention, focus, and learning.
Note: Transportation is not provided. An Uber ride from the airport is approximately $50, depending on the time of day and demand. We are also happy to provide you with the contact of a local driver who offers a taxi service to/from HNL airport at roughly that same cost.
Accomodations Refund Policy: Refund requests must be made in writing. Please consider the following information carefully when you are choosing and committing to the HYI yoga teacher training program. If you cancel your accommodation
