What will you learn?
Eve’s classes blend traditional Gentle Hatha Yoga postures with ancient Qi Gong longevity practices to accommodate all levels of students.
Hatha Yoga originated on the borders of India and Nepal and focuses on bodily postures, breathing techniques, and mediation designed to align and calm your body, mind, and spirit.
Qi Gong is a Chinese system of specific exercises based in martial arts that aims to restore the connective tissues to their loose and natural state, permitting the full rotation of all joints in a smooth and fluid manner. By combining these ancient traditions, Eve’s classes will help to enhance strength, flexibility, and balance, which are three of the pillars of healthy aging.
Each class includes a lecture/discussion and practice component. Props needed are a yoga mat and blanket.
