2025 Teacher Training Investment:

Our Investment:

Our hui of 15 teachers have over a century of facilitation and teaching experience, and, over 10,000 subject specific training hours. You are getting direct learning from lived experience experts who are also expertly trained. In this space, you are getting access to a team of teachers who can teach you how to apply these practices for your community and collective liberation.

Your Investment:

We recognize and understand the privilege necessary to pay for teacher training and are doing work to make this material accessible where and when we can. We currently offer a 100% scholarship-based 200-hour teacher training at WCCC. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we also provide scholarships when resources are available, if you are in need of a scholarship please reach out to us directly at admin@hawaiiyogainstitute.com.

Early bird tuition is $3,600. Full tuition is $4,000.

If you would like to use a payment plan, we accept payment plans in two forms:

  • Ask us to create a payment plan. All payment plans (including the deposit option) cost $100, and full payment is due before certification is complete.
  • We also accept PayPal Pay Later, which offers 4 interest-free, bi-weekly payments OR 6, 12, or 24 monthly payments. Using PayPal Pay Later qualifies you as a pay-in-full student, meaning there's no $100 fee.

Investment/Tuition Refund Policy:

Refund requests must be made in writing. Refunds are only available to students who pay in full. Refunds are not available to students who are using a payment plan (including the deposit option) because all payment plan payments are non-refundable. Please consider this information carefully when you are choosing and committing to the HYI yoga teacher training program. Tuition is non-transferable to another person or to a later training date.

  • If you cancel your enrollment 90 days or more before a program start date, you will receive a full 100-percent refund.
  • If you cancel your enrollment 89-60 days before a program start date, you will receive a 50-percent refund.
  • If you cancel your enrollment 59-30 days before a program start date, you will receive a 20-percent refund.
  • No refunds will be given less than 30 days before your program start date.

Housing for Immersion Programs

We have six private rooms available on-campus for our immersion program. We do not offer housing for the weekend program. You can review the details here, and if you want to reserve your spot on-campus, please do so here.

If you choose to stay off-campus, you are responsible for finding your own housing and transportation to our training venue. We send you information on where other students have stayed in the past. The closest town to our facility (in Hakalau) is Honomu.

Whether you stay on- or off-campus, we STRONGLY recommend that you opt into our food option so that you can focus your energy on learning. We are able to provide some of the most incredibly fresh, farm-to-table food that is prepared with as many local ingredients as possible. You can read more about our chef here if you like. Our meal plan includes the following:

5:45a morning coffee/tea (Class starts at 6:30a)

8:30a breakfast

12:00p lunch

5:30p dinner

We also understand wanting to prepare your own food. If you are choosing to make your own meals, please remember that we have very long hours and that you should plan to bring your breakfast and lunch everyday. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide fridge space or heating appliances; our chef makes full use of the kitchen.
